Demi Lovato has entered a treatment facility in order to seek help for "emotional and physical issues," according to her rep.

Fans knew something was up when Demi suspended her Twitter account and then canceled a concert performance over the weekend due to illness. Well, now we know why! Her rep explains:

Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.

Demi reportedly got into an altercation with a female member involved in her tour, which convinced her that she needed to get help. Good for you, Demi! Solve the problem before it gets any worse!

More Details on Demi's Treatment; Sources Say Star Suffered from Eating Disorder

More information on Demi Lovato's treatment and condition has been released. The starlet, who announced via a rep that she had entered a treatment facility for "emotional and physical issues" yesterday (November 1), has reportedly struggled with cutting and bulimia for years. A source explains:

She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. [She] is taking control by getting help. [She] doesn't have that same kind of love for life that she at one point had. She definitely had body-image issues. She was always conscious of her weight.

Sources are also confirming that a fight with a female tour member convinced Demi that she had to seek treatment.

Supposedly Miley Cyrus has some stoner fans who want to get their hands on the infamous salvia bong Miley was smoking out of in that video. According to reports, the guy who owns the bong refuses to sell it because it has "sentimental value" to him, despite some pressure from his friends to cash in on the opportunity and make a couple grand at least.

Perhaps the bong will end up in a "Disney Stars Gone Wrong" museum in the future. Imagine the fun a museum chronicling the turbulent private lives of Miley, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Vanessa Hudgens, Adrienne Bailon, Shia LaBeouf, Cody Linely, and more would be!

Demi's Dad Won't Shut Up

Unbelievable. Patrick Lovato is like the new Michael Lohan. Won't he just shut up so he doesn't make his daughter's life any more difficult?

Patrick is now alleging that Demi's breakdown might have something to do with the death of her friend (and possible boyfriend) David Osborn. He explains:

Demi?s doing great, she?s such a strong girl. She told me she?s getting better. She was really heartbroken. She was really in love with the guy. Bless her heart. She?s always been an honest person, what can I say? All I?ve got here is my dog Daytona but I?ve offered to let Demi come and stay here any time she wants to.

Whether this is true or not, we think it's despicable that Patrick should be exploiting his daughter's troubles to get attention. It's just such a shame and we wish Demi could recover without her father speaking the press.

Miley's Poor Sales Due to Illegal Downloads?

Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed debuted earlier this year to disappointing numbers, selling only about 107,000 copies in its first week and becoming the star's only album to not peak at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Well could those sales have been due to illegal downloads? Obviously that's not the only reason, but it seems like it was definitely a notable factor.

According to iLeaks, a website that leaks music for free, Can't Be Tamed was their fifth-most illegally downloaded album, while the title track and lead single was the eighth-most illegally downloaded song. The song's accompanying music video was the seventh-most illegally downloaded video. Altogether, Miley was the tenth-most artist whose material was illegally downloaded from the website.

Miley's Mother Had an Affair!

Just days after Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus announced their divorce, sources are coming forward, saying that Tish had an affair with rocker Bret Michaels! A sources tells Us Weekly that Billy Ray called it quits after he learned about Tish's affair with Bret, as well as one other fling!

The source explains that Bret "became close to the entire family" when he and Miley teamed up to do the controversial duet "Nothing To Lose" earlier this year.

"Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on," the source continues. "It was a professional relationship that turned into something more."

Reps for both Bret and Tish have denied these allegations. Meanwhile, Billy Ray is seeking joint custody of the couple's five kids.

Demi Lovato's estranged father has spoken up about her entering treatment, and the rest of Demi's family isn't too happy about it!

Pat Lovato, with whom Demi hasn't spoken in nearly three years, stated:

"The pressure of being a child star] was one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney. It's in her genes with her mom and dad. Mainly watching her mom. I'd gotten out of it myself. 'Cause someone had to take care of the kids."

Demi's lawyer, Jamie Young, responded with this statement:

"No one speaks for Demi except for her designated representatives. Unfortunately, several people have taken it upon themselves to speak out ? both on and off the record ? about a situation they know nothing about."

And, in response to that, Pat said:

"Demi won't even talk to me. I don't blame Disney; I never said that. I was misquoted. Disney has been wonderful to my daughter. Now their lawyers are warning me not to say anything else."

"I would never blame Dianna. She is a wonderful mother. I love Demi, her sister, Dallas, and Dianna. I think about them all the time and I pray they are OK and safe.

Demi's Father Will Not Be Silenced, Receives Death Threats

Though Patrick Lovato, estranged father of Demi Lovato, was berated by both Disney and Demi's mother for commenting on the star's treatment, he continues to talk!

He has even received a few death threats, including a phone call from someone who stated "You're gonna die for what you did to her."

Patrick has since spoken out against both Disney, Demi's mother, and the death threats, saying "I don't care, let them come at me. I'm not responsible for where Demi is right now... I love my daughter."

He has a point, but he said his piece and really needs to shut up now. This back-and-forth isn't doing Demi any good at all.

Wow, the secrets about Demi Lovato just keep spilling out as the actress/singer continues to seek professional help at a treatment center at an undisclosed location.

A source told People magazine that while Demi was dating Joe Jonas, 21 at the time, she "was a true teenager in love." But apparently "Demi?s attitude and behavior were out of control," forcing Joe to end the relationship. Afterward, Demi became"a mess" and "tortured."

And what about that fight she had with a female dancer from her Camp Rock tour at an airport that allegedly convinced Demi she needed help? Another tour member said that the dancer, Alex Welch, tattled on Demi for her partying ways. The tour member explains, "Demi walked onto the plane, did not look at the girl, then suddenly punched her in the face and threatened her with a slew of expletives.

Demi's Reps Deny Drug Use Reports

Yesterday there were some explosive new details regarding Demi Lovato and why she really entered a treatment facility. Sources were claiming that the actress was being treated for excessive drinking and cocaine use and that her dependency on these drugs became stronger following her break-up from Joe Jonas.

Well, Demi's reps are denying those rumors and have released the following statement:

Demi Lovato is not in treatment for drug or alcohol addiction. As we have said since she entered treatment last week, Demi decided to seek help for emotional and physical issues she has battled throughout her life."

She has taken this step in order to get her life in order. While we know many are interested in Demi and her life, we do ask for a modicum of privacy during this difficult time.

Very well. But they didn't deny the existence of a video filmed last December that shows Demi partying hard and doing lines of cocaine!

New Details About Billy Ray and Tish's Divorce

Remember, this is from the Nation Enquirer, so take it with a grain of salt.

Apparently, one of the major reasons Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus got divorced was because of an argument that almost turned violent! Billy Ray reportedly tried to ground their daughter Miley, but Tish let the pop star go out anyways.

When Billy Ray found out, he began screaming at Tish. She locked herself in a room and Billy Ray began kicking the door, yelling "Come out here and talk to me, b****! You let everyone run wild when I'm not here! It's going to STOP!"

Miley's Rep Tried to Bury Bong Video!

Miley Cyrus' reps reportedly worked overtime to make sure the controversial salvia video did not get out, and even gave at least two college students new computers in exchange for the video!

Shortly after Thanksgiving, a college student from the San Luis Obispo, California area contacted Miley's rep and offered his copy of the tape in exchange for something (money was reportedly discussed). The rep sent a man in his 40s to the college campus where the student gave him his MacBook Pro that contained the Miley video in exchange for a brand new MacBook Pro.

Sweet deal if you ask us!

A similar exchange reportedly occurred with another student. But not everyone with a copy of the video was willing to give up, and then leaked it!

To think that Miley almost avoided this scandal is kind of funny!

As previously reported, Demi Lovato was able to leave rehab for a few hours on Christmas day to spend time with her family. Naturally, the paparazzi was there to capture Demi's first public sighting in almost two months.

Demi and her family went to see a movie and then she returned to rehab shortly after. We're glad she was able to see her family! Now we can only hope for a speedy recovery.

Disney has released a statement declaring its support for Demi Lovato as she struggles through this very difficult time in her life.

Updates on Demi Lovato

Good news! Demi Lovato is "doing great" in treatment! Sources say she "she is getting help and on her way to getting better."

Demi is reportedly in solitary confinement and is not allowed to see family or friends in order to better focus on her treatment. While the location of her treatment remains unknown, it is definitely far away from Los Angeles. Sources explain:

Demi is not receiving care at one of the Hollywood-type centers. She is at a real facility that specializes in helping adolescent and adult women with the types of issues she has battled throughout her life. Details about her care are going to remain private.
